Far East Machiner Co., Ltd. was honored with the 2022 iF Design Award for its exhibit "FEMCO Machinery Memorial Museum".
iF Design Award, referred to as the "Oscars of the design industry," has been recognized globally as a symbol of outstanding design in the field since its inception in 1954.
Femco Machinery Memorial Museum stood out from nearly 11,000 entries from 57 countries worldwide, becoming Taiwan's first mechanical museum to win the iF Design Award for architecture and interior design.
Thanks to Feng Chia University's Interdisciplinary Design Institute College for systematically linking the entrepreneurial spirit of FEMCO and the subsequent innovative development of the industry with historical and experiential significance, and presenting it in the museum.
iF Design Award is the epitome of exemplary industry-academia collaboration, a tremendous honor for FEMCO since its inception, providing immense encouragement to all employees.

About Museum
In commemoration of the 70-year development history of FEMCO and in memory of founder Mr. C. M. Chuang, we have established the "Femco Machinery Memorial Museum" to showcase the growth trajectory of our multinational enterprise from its inception to the present.
Femco Machinery Memorial Museum reveals not only the historical facade established in 1949, but also a modern manufacturing base, by adding an interactive exhibition, multimedia show, and collection display.
The Historical Relics Area, an oval white wall surrounding with lighting documents and consecutive exhibitions that lively tell the history of the space while displaying scenes in this solid 60-year-old plant.
The Manufacturing Exhibition Area, which reinvents the matrix in the historic square space by repositioning retired machines and cutting-edge equipment, illustrating innovative corporate culture.
Museum not only inherits the humanistic heritage of Mr. C. M. Chuang, but also aspires to become a 'Hall of Industrial Art' to carry on his legacy. It aims to inspire the spirit of gratitude and corporate humanism for educational purposes.
